Your quote
- Every quote states a total, an itemised breakdown, and an expiry — normally 48 hours.
- The price is fixed at the moment it is issued and does not change afterwards, in either direction, unless the journey itself changes.
- An expired quote is not a price. Ask for a new one; it will usually be the same.
Paying
- Payment links are single-purpose. They can only ever collect the amount quoted, for the journey quoted, until they expire.
- Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay are all accepted, with no surcharge on any of them.
- Your bank may ask you to approve the payment in your banking app. That is PSD2 strong customer authentication and it is required by law, not a CABI setting.
- Payments are processed by Stipendia Gateway over Stripe. CABI never sees or stores your card number.
- Your card statement will read CABI. If you see anything else, tell us — it should not happen.
Deposits
For large-group bookings, multi-day hires and some long-notice airport work we may take a 25% deposit with the balance due on the day. The deposit follows exactly the same cancellation windows as a full payment — cancel more than 12 hours out and it is refunded in full.
Business accounts
- Named riders travel without a card prompt. Journeys are collected on one monthly invoice with 30-day terms, settled by SEPA Direct Debit.
- Cost centres are recorded per journey so finance can allocate without asking anyone.
- Overdue accounts are suspended, not surcharged. We would rather have a conversation than compound a problem.
VAT
The VAT treatment of the fare, the booking fee and any subscription differ from each other in Irish law. Invoices show the treatment applied to each line. This section must be confirmed by an accountant before the first real invoice is issued.
